Thanks for stopping by!
I'm Vic (Victoria), a busy mum of a boisterous toddler, project manager, psychology graduate and slow living enthusiast.
I love coffee, chocolate, sparkling wine and fairy tales.
My goal is to help busy women, especially mums, to start prioritising themselves - if only for a few minutes a day.
What can you expect from me?
As I love psychology and have a Masters Degree in it (as well as numerous certificates in counselling, coaching and mindfulness meditation) - this blog will give you simple and easy to apply tips based on the latest scientific research and my personal experience.
The topics I will cover, which are very close to my heart:
self-care - essential for moms and busy women alike
simple and balanced living
productivity - a vital skill when you need to prepare lunches, dinners, clean the house and get ready for work and look great all at the same time
My journey to this blog
While on maternity, I have noticed how scatterbrained I’ve become! The lack of sleep, the new routine, and new responsibilities have turned me into a human version of Dory from 'Finding Nemo' - charming but forgetful, looking out for others more than herself.
Then a thought crossed my mind - I cannot be the only one feeling this way. I started reading post after post of mums going through something similar. And I decided to start this blog to help mums and busy women who, like me, feel it is time to start putting themselves first.
How can I help you?
Feel free to reach out to me with a topic request, and I will do my best to cover it in my future posts.
Well, I hope you enjoy the blog and find it valuable.
